Hi everyone!
Welcome to our blog, thanks so much for stopping by! We are both very excited to start sharing our easy and affordable self-care tips. As two female university students, we understand how stressful life can be and how important it is to make time to take care of yourself. We also understand that most university students don’t have a ton of money to spend on self-care. So, through Self Care Sundays, we hope to share affordable self-care activities that can be done mostly with things that you probably have around the house. Self-care is really whatever you want it to be - it can be anything from doing a face mask, going on a walk, implementing little habits into your everyday life, eating healthy, exercising, and so much more.
Self-care has always been important, but throughout the pandemic, both of us have seen how important it really is. Covid-19 has brought so much extra stress and uncertainty into our lives, which has led to mental health struggles for the both of us. We have found that taking the time to do little things for yourself can really have a positive impact on your mental health and overall wellbeing.
Although we have both made an effort to incorporate more self-care into our routines, we are still far from perfect! As school picks up, or other aspects of life become overwhelming, we begin to prioritize self-care less and less.
So, our hope is that through this blog, we can join you guys on this journey and share in the experience of practicing accessible and easy self-care.
